Curse you mediamax!

Unfortunately with my isometric environment, no matter what I tried I could not get the code to work. What I was trying to achieve was to make the snake head change direction with key press (which worked) but the snake head should have been moving while this was happening, so that key press would change the direction and the snake would move in that direction. So after hours of trying to get it to work, I decided to leave it how it is, and focus more on my other environment, which is a top down version of the same thing. I created this using arrays, and despite a few errors it does work how i want it to.

Currently mediamax is taking several years to process my requests so I havnt been able to upload any of my flash or swf files yet, but I will as soon as it starts working again.

Here is a little screen of my top down environment.

How its coming along

Still been fiddling around with the isometric, trying to work out the code so that all the pieces will move along when the snake head moves.

Heres how its looking so far..

Environment Movement Study 1

The two types of environment that i will experiment with are side-scrolling and isometric view. I am currently working on the isometric view environment, in which i have taken inspiration from the original 'snake' game

Rather than using the original 'top-down' view point, i have decided to create an isometric, 3D-looking snake game, that works the same as the original, but has an added dimension of 3D space. Here is how it is looking so far..
